ByRae Studio

In 2024, ByRae was born—out of clay, fire, and an insatiable desire to reshape the ordinary. A love for interior design sparked the journey for more personal style in home decor, and to capture an aesthetic that is unique.

ByRae takes inspiration from easygoing Caribbean lifestyle and merges with influences of Brooklyns bold fashion scene to create one of a kind handmade forms. Think refined rebellion—sophisticated yet unpolished, effortless yet intentional.

Each piece is a statement, a mood, a little slice of art meant to be lived with. Crafted in small, deliberate batches, ByRae is for those who don’t just decorate—they curate.

Behind The Media

Most of the media used in the Byrae website homepage is home grown. Because most of the time my ideas are sparked at home - so was the idea to sketch, create and reproduce the Firepit Ashtrays.

Photo Inspiration - I love being inspired by color.

RED - unapologetically bold. This photo happened at a very random moment. I was inspired by the color red to redecorate the credenza in my living room with pops of red against the dark colored wood. This sparked inspiration. One idea led to another and in a flash I imagined the Taino Prism being photographed on the bar cart. I reached for my phone immediately to capture the idea using the iPhone 16 stage-light camera feature. The shape of the Prism matched perfectly, because it’s sassy and unique - as is this style of ad hoc photography lol.

The smoking Chubb video .. ooh, this one eats (and left no crumbs). Did I risk burning myself, amongst other things to get this shot? Yes, but no risk no reward right? This was shot in my "home studio", again with my iPhone, and a little editing. I cropped and repeated the part where the match emitted smoke and eventually died down. BTS below.
